Design Tips for Using in Your Garden

Pop-N-Polish Petunias are selected for their die-hard performance from spring through fall. Their non-stop blooming makes them one of the best flowering annuals to use in your garden. These petunias are perfectly sized for decorative container plantings around your front door, patio, porch and steps. Mixing different sized decorative containers clustered together planted with this selection of petunias would enliven these spaces which usually don’t have much color.

When using these petunias in decorative containers, consider the container color. Select containers that complement the paint or brick colors of your home and are complimentary to the petunias as well. White or black containers would be a nice contrast to these petunia colors and complimentary to any white or black elements of your home.

These petunias are also suitable for planting in the front border of a garden bed. A grouping of three or more plants would be ideal and create the best look.

The strong ‘flower power’ of this petunia provides flowers all season that are a bright and bold purple-violet color. Use this flower color to either compliment or contrast with colors used in the brick or paint of your home, patio furniture, or decorative containers.

The spreading and low growth habit makes it perfect as a cascading plant for over the edge of a container, or in the foreground or border of a garden bed.

It can be used alone or in a mixed container garden. When using this petunia in a garden bed, it is most striking when planted in a grouping of three or more plants together.

For a standout display, combine with a showy foliage plant like sweet potato vine, helichrysum and artemisia or other color complimentary HGTV Home flowering annuals like verbena, lobularia, bacopa, euphorbia, dahlia, phlox, bidens, or geranium.
