Flavored Herb Butters
These easy-to-make flavored herb butters will liven up your holiday party hors d'oeuvres tray.
Cranberry Herb Butter Ingredients:
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter room temp
- 1/3 cup fresh whole cranberries
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp fresh orange zest
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh mint leaves
Herb Butter Ingredients:
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter room temp
- 1 tsp dried garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon zest
Roasted Pepper-Basil Butter Ingredients:
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter at room temp
- 1/4 cup roasted red bell peppers drained & patted dry
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Directions:
- For all butters put ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until ingredients are well incorporated.
- Scrape mixture out onto a sheet of wax paper and form into a log. Wrap tightly and fold ends of paper under. Chill until ready to use.
- Slice or let soften to serve.
