Ingredients and Directions for Simple Syrup:

  1. 1 cup sugar + 1 cup water mixed together in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, turn to low stirring until sugar melts. Remove from heat to cool completely.

Directions for Sangria:

  1. To a large serving pitcher add the chilled wine, triple sec, orange juice, lemon juice and 1/4 cup of the simple syrup. Stir and taste. Adjust sweet to your liking by adding more simple syrup.
