Rosemary Flavored Honey

These sweet rosemary-infused honey jars make great edible gifts

 Ingredients:

  • large jar of your favorite local honey
  • sprigs of fresh rosemary

Equipment: 

  • decorative bottles with stoppers or jars with tight-fitting lids
  • decorative labels or tags with colorful string or ribbon

Directions:

  1. Into each gift container put a sprig or two of fresh rosemary.
  2. Fill each container with honey and stopper or lid tightly. Make sure the rosemary sprigs are completely submerged in the honey.
  3. Add decorative tag or labels. Let sit for flavors to meld at least a few days before gifting.
  4. Note: You can also use other herbs for make flavored honeys. Sprigs of fresh thyme or sage would be wonderful.
